This shot is interesting to me because of the contrast between the trees on the steep slop of the mountain and the lake below. In a way, it looks like an audience in stadium seating ready to watch something down below.

After a couple of weeks of off and on storms, there is a lot of water in the area. This creek is typically a small trickle, but after all the rains it’s turned into a river.
Yesterday while driving into town, I decided to take the back roads instead of the Interstate. The next town north of Sweetwater is Philadelphia. While driving through Philadelphia, I found two very old buildings that were very run down, to the point of having no roof and had trees and other foliage growing inside.
