These are Jonagold apples. They are used for eating and cooking. Jonagold apples were first developed in 1968 and are a cross between the Jonathan and Golden Delicious varieties.

With tall buildings, there is a repetition that happens. The pattern of stonework, or in this case the windows and the frames, create very interesting patterns. I captured this pattern during my first visit to New York City.
This is a view of the Alewife Transit Parking Garage (last subway stop outside of Boston, MA) from the second floor. I saw this and really liked the symmetry of this view and how it drew me to the staircase on the other side of the garage.
