Went down to the Cataloochee Valley this morning with my buddy Jerry Denham and my family to see the Elk during their rut.
Sometimes it’s hard to predict what the weather is going to be like in the mornings around the mountains. Today was no different. Jerry and I were welcomed with a blanket of fog that enveloped the entire valley.
Before the sun crest over the mountain tops, we hopped into the field to photograph an elk in front of the barn.
As we were standing there taking photos, the fog kept switching from thick to thin, causing same difficulty in getting the shot we were looking for.
