During a recent trip to Washington DC, we stopped and visited the Steven F. Udvar-Hazy Center which is part of the Smithsonian Air and Space Museum. What you see here is a Vought F4U-1D Corsair.
I’m very excited about the set of shots that I got from here. I have a lot to go through and so far it’s been difficult picking the ones to share. Part of me just wants to throw them all out there now, but that’s not how I typically do my images, so you all will have to wait.
The Udvar-Hazy Center is one of the few locations that has one of the Space Shuttles, this location has the Shuttle Discovery, which had accumulated 365 days in orbit.
