On a spur of the moment decision, we ended up in Cades Cove this evening. On our way out we made one last stop and shot one of the old cabins. After deciding to leave, I noticed a wolf in the grasses opposite the cabin. Spectators had begun to line up to watch.
Since this was a spur of the moment trip into the Smoky Mountain National Park, I didn’t come equipped with my normal gear, so I used my wife’s Nikon COOLPIX S9100 with it’s zoom lens I was able to capture this guy looking back at the crowd.
To make this impromptu outing with my family even better, my photography bud, Jerry Denham appeared and started taking shots.
It was a fun afternoon with my family and I ended up getting some great shots with this Nikon COOLPIX S9100. Can’t wait to share them all with you.
This shot was taken using a Nikon COOLPIX S9100 at ISO 400, f/5.5, for 1/30sec
