Over the past several weeks we have experienced a ton of rain. During all the rain we were getting, I noticed our neighbors yard had retained a lot of that water. With the grounds so saturated, the water has had no place to go, so a shallow lake was created.

During a recent walk down our street, I decided to take my camera and get some shots from around the neighborhood. Well, on the way back to our house, I decided to go and stand at the edge of this pool of water and get a shot of the field behind our houses.

This shot was taken using a NIKON D5000 at ISO 200, f/4, for 1/1000sec
