1000 Cascades

Today I took a drive on River Road, just east of Tellico Plains in the Cherokee National Forest. I had intentions of heading to the area just before Bald River Falls to try and get some shots of the kayakers in the area, but I came across the first bridge and noticed that there was a series of cascades, so I decided to stop and explore. This little river of cascades just kept going and going. I kept going up the river taking shot after shot and the more I would shoot, the more I would explore this river. After a shot I would pick up my tripod, and notice that there were more cascades up the hill. So for about 30 minutes or so, I just kept going up and up. Finally, as I was in the middle of getting a shot, my camera battery died.

I was not very happy at this time, but I guess that’s just one of those things that happens from time to time. I will defiantly be heading back to this spot very soon.

This shot was taken using a NIKON D5000 at ISO 100, f/22, for 2sec
