The Man in the Moon is always watching you. This afternoon I came home and while sitting at the kitchen table, looking over my daughter’s homework, I noticed the moon shining through the branches of the trees and decided that would make an interesting composition.

To me the naked branches of the trees have a fractorial look to them. While they are not straight lines in the image, the branches, going from less thick to more thick, create a “leading lines” affect and cause your eyes to end up on the moon.

If you are interested, I will be starting a weekly update email that will summarize my week in photography and include images from the past week, along with tips, tricks, and other helpful photography related information.
