The far mountain in this panorama is Mt. Leconte. This image was taken from the observation deck at Clingmans Dome. Off to the left of Mt. Leconte are the towns of Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge.

Do you see me? This photo captures the reason why a giraffes are the colors that they are. They blend in well with the browns from the trees and grass found in their neck of the woods.

Fall at Clingmans Dome

The family got up super early (3am) this morning to head out to the hightest point in the Smoky Mountain National Park (thrid highest point east of the Mississippi). This image consist of 8 images. In this image you will see Fontana Lake, in the distance, covered with a thick layer of fog.
