Lightroom 4 came out yesterday and after playing with the beta of it over the past couple months, I’m very pleased with the develop module. The Adobe Camera Raw tools have been updated and work great. Using these new adjustments puts a new perspective on old photos.
This particular image just didn’t do anything for me after I saw it outside of the camera. When I was taking the photo, I had a vision in mind as to how it would be processed, and just looking at it out of the camera, nothing that was in my mind, was working with this shot. I decided to revisit it today with the newest version of Lightroom and made the adjustments I was looking for. Then with the correct clarity and contrast, I went black and white with it.
