Just because you can, doesn’t always mean you should!

Last summer, I took a hike to Piney Falls, located in Spring City, Tennessee. While I was hiking, I decided I would create a video, so I setup the tripod and the camera to record some thoughts. Up until now, I never had the hardware needed to edit and produce the final video, but now I do, and I’m still not sure how I feel about videos and public speaking in general.

I will tell you that I was quite surprised at what I found at the end of my hike to Piney Falls. Prior to this trip, I had been here once before and it’s a beautiful 80′ waterfall. The hike is relatively easy, but on this particular day, it was over 100 degrees when I started the hike.

This is my first ever video, so cut me some slack. I have some areas that need improvement, but I know that as I do more of these I will become more refined in my delivery and they should have a purpose or a point. Again, this was an off the cuff, solo shoot, and with it being my first, I think the hard part is over. Now it’s time to share it with all of you.
